A strong network of people and organizations stands ready to help you.
In the Vermont tradition our system for assistance is being kept as close as possible to you — at the local and regional level.
Your first stop for finding out what assistance is available to meet your individual unmet needs is your regional long-term recovery group.
Click here to see which group covers your community.
Your regional long-term recovery group will connect you with a caseworker who will be your advocate in finding assistance – from volunteer organizations, local funds, special funds, and the statewide disaster relief fund.
If you are unsure which regional committee covers your community, dial 211 and they will put you in contact with your recovery group.
If you have any difficulty reaching your regional group or 211, please call us at the Vermont Long-Term Recovery Group.
